Secret Glow

Secret Glow was acquired from the 2021 July HIT sales by the Desk Till Dawn Partnership.

 

This Sepoy gelding only raced a total of 3 times for former trainer Simon Crisford recording a straightforward win on his second career outing. The team were equally taken by his sixth of eleven finish on third and final run for Simon Crisford at Lingfield AW.

 

Drawn wide he showed up well under the penalty giving weight to what always looked and has now proven to be a classy line up.

 

Although Secret Glow faded out of contention at Lingfield we believed he had demonstrated clear ability to get the field stretched. Ability that was certainly missed by most at the July sales and we were quietly confident we had come away with a bargain.

 

Horses will often improve away from the hustle and bustle of Newmarket. Glow has a taken well to his new surroundings in the Oxfordshire Country side. His debut success for Heather came in late March over a mile after several good attempts at shorter trips. We are pleased to have secured Secret Glow to be the second horse in the Share A Winner syndicate.
